HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010
2010 is upon us and it has been a tremendous year for the stock market. Going forward we will be looking for more postings to this blog for the SPI traders....
The chart setup:
1 3 sma displaced 3
2 7 sma displaced 5
3 25 sma displaced by 5 periods
These are the Joe Dinapoli displaced moving averages (dma), with them on the 15 min chart of the SPI, one can see whether the SPI futures stance on the short, medium or longer term.(in the 15 min timeframe)
Once the direction or trend is set, the setup on the 1 min is used to decide whether to trade or not.
